Welcome! I’m Amber, founder and creator of A Well-Rounded Wardrobe

I created this space with the simple idea that creating a wardrobe that works for you doesn’t have to be (and shouldn’t be) complicated. Your wardrobe should work for every facet of your life – whether you’re at the office, doing housework, spending time with the family, having fun on a date, relaxing on vacation, or anything and everything in between. In other words, it should be a well-rounded wardrobe that is versatile, practical, and functional.

In the ten plus years that I have been refining my own wardrobe, I’ve learned that there is so much conflicting style advice that it can often leave you feeling confused, frustrated, and overwhelmed.

There are numerous sources dictating what the perfect or ideal wardrobe looks like, with recommendations for which specific pieces you should purchase if you want said perfect wardrobe, yet it isn’t possible that those recommendations will work for everyone since no two people have identical lifestyles, or even identical style preferences.

Add to that the ideas of capsule wardrobes, color theory, minimalist or maximalist wardrobes, how to wear trends, etc., and it really becomes information overload.

With all of the content available, there seemed to be a gap for the everyday, multi-faceted woman who just wants to look nice, feel good, and then go about her day/life without being consumed with worrying over what to wear, knowing that her wardrobe is filled with the right kind of quality pieces that suit her style, make sense for her lifestyle, and will see her through just about any scenario.

So I created this space to help fill that gap. My writings and resources are simple, straightforward, easy to understand, and easy to implement. They are here to help you understand what makes a well-rounded wardrobe, why a well-rounded wardrobe works for anyone and everyone, and how to achieve your own version of a well-rounded wardrobe.
